This hands-on professional development course empowers educators to harness the power of AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to create engaging, customized classroom content. Building on foundational prompt engineering skills, participants will explore how to generate lesson plans, differentiate materials, support student writing, and integrate AI output into their daily teaching practices. Through live demonstrations, collaborative activities, and reflection, educators will gain practical strategies for using AI purposefully and ethically—ensuring it enhances, rather than replaces, their instructional vision.

This course is designed for:

  • K–12 educators, instructional coaches, and school leaders who want to explore how AI can support content creation in real classroom settings.

  • Educators with a basic understanding of AI and prompt engineering (recommended completion of “Mastering the Language of AI” or equivalent experience).

  • Teams or individuals seeking hands-on, practical strategies to integrate AI-generated materials into lesson planning and instruction.

This course is not designed to:

  • Provide technical or programming instruction on building AI models or advanced AI development.

  • Focus on student use of AI tools for learning or assignments (though this may be briefly referenced).

  • Serve as an introduction to AI literacy or prompt engineering from scratch—participants are expected to already have foundational knowledge.
